More than 37 crore 60 lakh Vaccine Doses have been administered so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.The Health Ministry said, 37 lakh 23 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has gone up to 97.20 per cent. Over 41 thousand patients recovered during the last 24 hours. Till now, over 2 crore 99 lakh people have recovered from Covid-19 infection. India reported over 41 thousand new cases in the last 24 hours.
Country’s Active Caseload currently at 4 lakh 54 thousand 118. Active cases constitute 1.47 per cent of total cases. Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5 per cent and it is currently at 2.32 per cent. Daily positivity rate is at 2.25 per cent and it is less than 3 per cent for 20 consecutive days. 895 deaths reported in the last 24 hours.Till now over 4 lakh 8 thousand people have lost their lives due to the pandemic. Testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and over 43 crore 8 lakh tests have been conducted till now. Yesterday, 18 lakh 43 thousand tests were conducted.
